This is Metsäntaru (Forest Story in Finnish) where Once Upon A Time there was a forest dwelling tonttu (elf) named Sanni who journeyed from the West to the Northern forests of Finlandia. She meets many interesting characters in Finlandia such as Noita (witch), Kallio (big rock spirit) and other tonttu who help her discover & learn about the herbs and life in Finlandia.
Metsäntaru is equal parts storytelling, sharing of herbal knowledge and offerings of sustainably wildcrafted & organically cultivated herbal products. All stories and herbal products are handcrafted by me, Sandy Evans Tolonen, making Metsäntaru a creative expression of my love for the forest. Metsäntaru donates a percentage of profits to Finnish nature conservation groups so that I may give back and help protect the generous & magical Finnish forests. Kiitos! (Thank you!)
